Large Nose

Sometimes the nose is large in all dimensions. This may be considered a malformation that is very distressing for the patient. In rhinoplasty the surgeon corrects the bony and cartilaginous structure of the nose without removal or cutting of the skin on the nose, and the skin on the nose is gradually reduced after surgery by itself. Modern techniques in rhinoplasty reduce the size of the nasal structure while preserving structural integrity so that the skin on the nose gradually diminishes to satisfaction without deterioration of the nasal structure. Patients with large noses should be aware that even though it may take longer to achieve desired results, with a realistic view they will be completely satisfied with the results of surgery. In a typology proposed by Dr. Sazgar, the most complex method is utilized to correct this malformation.
