Asymmetric Nose

Lack of symmetry in the face is common, but many people are unaware that they have asymmetric faces. In many cases this asymmetry evokes a feeling of naturalness and cannot be easily detected. When the right and left halves of the nose significantly differ in size or shape the nose is defined as asymmetric. Even though a deviated nasal septum can be an underlying cause for an asymmetric nose, in many cases the problem is genetic. Accurate diagnosis of such asymmetry prior to surgery, especially using standard photography, can make complete correction possible. The fully-equipped medical photography studio in Dr. Sazgar’s office is utilized to record even the slightest cases of asymmetry.
